With offices in over 9,000 locations in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Spain, France, the USA and Canada, we can offer you a great deal of freedom in your home country as to where you’d like to start your graduate career. Here’s the rundown of where we are (so far).
In the UK, the first Enterprise office opened in Reading in 1994. There are now over 400 offices throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, employing over 3,600 people.
In Ireland, our first office opened in Dublin in 1997. This number has now increased to more than 25 and the number of people we employ to over 200.
Enterprise opened its first German office in Ottobrunn in 1997, and now operates in over 190 different locations. According to Peter Dulac:
It’s a lot of fun taking something from nothing and making it big, and I’m on my way to making that happen. A few years ago, Enterprise was unknown here in Germany. Today, thanks to the efforts of our motivated German workforce, the Enterprise mission, philosophy and culture are taking flight.

We expanded into France in 2012 with the acquisition of Citer SA from PSA Peugeot Citroën and began operating under the Enterprise brand in early 2013. The company has more than 600 employees and operates from over 170 locations.
Enterprise entered the Spanish market in 2011 when it acquired Atesa from PSA Peugeot Citroën at the same time that it bought Citer SA in France. Atesa’s heritage dates back to 1949 when it was established as a public company. It was later privatised and then bought by PSA Peugeot Citroën in 1989. Enterprise has more than 600 employees and over 110 branch locations in Spain.
So, this is where it all started in 1957, and Enterprise is now the largest car rental company in North America and arguably the world. 90% of the American population lives within 15 miles of one of our 6,200 branches and we buy more new cars in the U.S. than any other company or organisation. In the USA, Enterprise has more than 65,000 employees.

In 1993 a Texan named Jacques Juneau crossed the Detroit River and opened the first Enterprise office outside the United States, in Windsor, Ontario. This number has now increased to over 500 offices across Canada, where Enterprise has more than 4,000 employees.
